About us
Obermeier Truck Service has been on the interstate since 1995. We started with a single rig and a simple promise: load it right, drive it safe, and be where we said we'd be. Today our fleet of 23 power units and 33 trailers moves grain, building materials, dry bulk and general freight across the Midwest and beyond.
We're a family business in the way that matters — the owner is at the dispatch desk, our drivers are our neighbors in Okawville, and our word still means something. That's why carriers, shippers and grain elevators from Illinois to the Plains keep calling us back.
What we haul
Our lanes are built around the Midwest economy — grain, aggregates and farm supplies — but our tractors run general freight on demand.
Full truckload and partial loads, dry van equipment, lTL-friendly pickup windows. Paperwork clean, loads delivered with photos.
Elevator-to-mill and elevator-to-elevator grain movement. Feed, forage and hay runs for the season — before it, during, and after harvest.
Rock, sand, gravel and construction materials to job sites that need them this week. Straight trucks for tight urban deliveries.
Bulk commodities and dry freight moved with the right equipment for the load. We match the trailer to the tonnage — no improvising.
Seed, fertilizer, fuel and farm equipment when the season won't wait. We've hauled for Midwestern ag for thirty years — we know the windows.
Hot shots and flat moves for projects that keep a schedule. Direct line to dispatch — no call centers, no ticket numbers.
Our fleet
Our fleet is a mix built for the work: 16 truck tractors for long-haul interstate freight and 7 straight trucks for local and regional delivery. Backing them: 33 trailers — dry vans, reefer, and equipment for aggregate and bulk work.
Maintenance happens in our own yard in Okawville. Tires, brakes and pre-trip checks are done by people who know every truck by number. That's how a 30-year-old operation stays out of the roadside queue.
